Who do we tutor?
We specifically target students preschool through 12th grade from low-income families all around the world, however, we are open to anybody who would benefit from our services.
How do I enroll in live events such as seminars, lab demonstrations, and book discussions?
We will send out a monthly email containing enrollment forms for all our live events!
What if I do not live in the United States?
Although we are based in the Bay Area, due to the vast array of tutors on our team, we are able to mentor young scholars from all over the world by accommodating all time zones.
What if I’m not satisfied with my tutor?
After your first 1-on-1 session, we will send out a brief feedback form to let us know whether or not you would like to proceed with the same tutor. Our program allows you to try out different tutors until you find the perfect fit!
How much does it cost per session?
We offer our services at no charge! All our tutors volunteer their own time to teach and accompany our students. We are here to help in any way we can.
How long is each session?
The length of each session can vary anywhere from 30 minutes to 90 minutes.

The Admissions Process
To apply, please click the "Apply" button which is located on this page. Upon completion, we will be in contact with you within 2-5 days. A virtual interview may be conducted if necessary.
What would I do as a tutor?
As a tutor, you would be expected to draft lesson plans and present them to the student over Zoom. Normal tasks during classes would include helping a student prep for a test, help with their homework, or preview classwork.
How are classes conducted?
Classes will be conducted over Zoom.
Will there be a training period? How should I approach my lesson plans?
Once you are accepted, we will send out documents detailing lesson plans/a guide to how to create lesson plans and approach lessons.
What subjects would I teach as a tutor?
Any subjects you feel comfortable with.
How many hours a week do I have to dedicate to Project One Education?
We require a minimum of 1 hour a week. In terms of scheduling, our tutoring services are based around the schedule of the student and the tutor, so it is very flexible.
