We realize that a solid, foundational education can be a far-fetched reality for many, and with COVID-19 ravaging the world, it can be even more strenuous for parents to provide for their families, let alone fund an education. In addition, many teachers are not provided with adequate resources to assist and tend to every one of their students’ learning needs due to the current situation. With this paradigm in mind, alongside our tutoring initiative, we hope to collect donations via GoFundMe to purchase lab kits, course materials, and wifi hotspots for underprivileged young scholars all over the world. We have collectively decided that our first batch of donations will be used to purchase course materials for local classrooms in need. Through our numerous community partners, we have asked multiple teachers from several different schools to provide a comprehensive classroom “wish list” for the back-to-school season, and we hope to receive enough donations to fulfill our ambitions.
